How to measure a Dome or Round Range Hood Filter
How to measure a Rectangle or Square Range Hood Filter
Measure the Width of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 11-3/8"
Now measure the height of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 13-3/8"
Finally measure the depth/thick of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 3/8"
In this instance the rectangle filter size is acknowledged by WIDTH x HEIGHT x DEPTH or THICKNESS
The above filter is 11-3/8" x 13-3/8 x 3/8"

Measure the diameter of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 11-1/2"
To make this easy, put a flat object accross the cavity of the dome. Measure how how deep the filter is,
Tape measure reads 2-1/2"
Use this measurement only if you have a DOME filter!
Finally measure the depth/thick of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 3/8"
Flip the filter over. Measure the Width of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 10"
Now measure the height/length of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 16-3/4"
Measure the depth/thickness of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 3/8"
Finally measure the angle of the filter, write this down.
Tape measure reads 3"
